AM Best affirmed Nationwide at A (Excellent) on November 7, 2025, after cutting it from A+ in December 2023; the 2025 release called operating performance "marginal" but the balance sheet very strong. On the policy, Nationwide's endorsements lean toward replacement cost: Brand New Belongings, Better Roof Replacement, and Dwelling Replacement Cost up to twice the dwelling limit. Travelers lists contents replacement cost as an option, plus additional replacement cost protection if the dwelling limit falls short of rebuilding costs, $25,000 of identity fraud expense reimbursement and green home coverage.
