Put our home insurance calculators on your site

Free copy-and-paste home insurance calculators for agents, lenders, realtors and bloggers. No account, no tracking; nothing visitors type is sent anywhere.

Runs entirely in your browser: nothing you enter is sent or stored by this site. Results are estimates for planning, not a quote or advice.

If you write about homes, sell insurance, close mortgages or list houses, your readers ask the same questions ours do: how much dwelling coverage is enough, what a 2% hurricane deductible costs, whether a claim is worth filing. You can put the calculator that answers the question on your own page instead of sending people away to find one.

How to use it

Choose a tool from the list, copy the two lines of code, and paste them into your page's HTML where the tool should appear. Most site builders and blog platforms have an "HTML" or "custom code" block for this. The first line marks the spot; the second loads the tool from our site. To show two tools on one page, paste each first line where you want it and the script line once. The preview below the code shows exactly what your visitors will see.

How the math works

An embedded tool runs the same code as the version on our site, so its results match ours to the dollar, and it picks up corrections the moment we make them. Each tool page here explains its own math and assumptions; the credit line under an embedded tool links to that page.

What it assumes

The tools run entirely in your visitor's browser. Nothing they type is sent to us or anyone else, and the tools set no cookies. A few tools (the inventory builder and the checklists) can save a visitor's own notes in their browser, on your site, when they press Save. The embedded tool brings its own small stylesheet, scoped to the tool, so it does not restyle the rest of your page. The tools that need our insurer or state data, such as the state lookup, the claim deadline calculator and the insurer comparison, are not offered for embedding; link to them instead.

Where it stops being right

Embedding is free for any site that keeps the credit line under the tool; please do not remove or hide it. The tools give estimates from the numbers a person enters and are not advice for any particular home, so present them that way on your page. If your site's own styles override ours and a tool looks wrong, put it inside a plain container without other styles, or link to the tool on our site. For anything the tools do not cover, the How much homeowners insurance do I need? and our guides are a good place to send readers.
